  • Beyond the Secret

I had the opportunity last night to be in the theatre where they were showing a live seminar called "Beyond the Secret"

I went to this seminar wanting to better myself, perhaps get idea's to share with the people around me and the distributors that need some extra care.  What I came out finding is that I already have within me all they were speaking about.

It is all about getting in touch with the good side of life.  We as individuals have a choice of either being angry, frustrated, bitter, on-edge or we have a choice of bringing good energy into our lives and finding something deep within us that makes us want to succeed.

I have a friend who wakes up every morning and feels everything from neglected to bitterness.  She complains all the time, she finds no joy in living, and when she speaks with people it is usually in a tone of voice that puts one down.  If you happen to say you had a headache, she always makes sure she can do you one better.  She is a difficult person to love and sometimes more difficult to like.

What I have found with her is that she runs on fear, all of the time.  Her whole life is bound by fear.  So she has popped herself in this bubble of anger and all the trappings that go with it and has forgotten the gift she has been given.

The gift you may ask is what?  The gift is life.  But the other gift you have been given is your free agency to do with your life what you so choose.  We have to remember however, that for every decision we make there is a consequence whether it be good or bad.

We and only we have the ability to change our circumstances.  Did you know that your whole day can be changed by what you do the first 20 minutes after you get up?  If you are listening to the news, your day could go pretty bad depending on what they are showing.  If you pray when you get up and read scriptures for that first 20 minutes maybe your day will go a little better because you have fed your soul, maybe you have listened to the laughter of children getting ready for school and found joy in peanut butter kisses.  Keep those experiences close to you heart, because through the day, if things go haywire, you can recall, the smell of freshly washed little faces and the love of those wonderful peanut butter kisses with little arms wrapped tightly around your neck and soft a soft voice saying before catching the bus "I love you Mommy."  Recall the good!

During this seminar they kept referring to a "higher power", I prefer the word "God".  I pray a lot.  I pray for guidance through the day.  I pray for my friends.  I pray for things I need.  I pray for things I want.  I pray to be guided to the people who will see the value in my business.   I pray that I  always listen to the sweet promptings of the Holy Ghost guiding me each and every day.  For me that is one of the most special gifts I have and cherish it dearly.

I want to be uplifted by those around me, and I want to truly uplift those that come my way.  It feels like it has taken me a lifetime to get to where I am at.  I pray it doesn't take another lifetime to succeed.

If you do what you always have done, you will only get what you have always gotten.  How badly do you want you business to succeed?  What are you willing do to get it?  Are you willing to believe in you and surround yourself with people who believe in you as well?  Don't let the naysayer's squash your dreams or your visions.  Life each and every day as it is your last.

My grandmother always used to say, "Hold your head up high during times of trial and know "this to shall pass."  But always, always know who you are!

  • The Holiday Season

I sometimes wonder what causes people to loose sight of what Christmas is really all about.  I watched on television as two people were trampled and one of those two people died, because of black Friday.  Good grief, what are we thinking?  All for a sale, one ended up in the hospital the other in the morgue.

Christmas is about trying to find what is good in each one of us and passing that on the rest of the year.  I want to pay it forward.  Here in Seattle, around the Thanksgiving holiday, was a young man named Brendon.  He was dying and the only thing he wanted was to feed the homeless.  All because he had seen those big pink tents set up in Seattle on his way from the doctor's office. This brave young 11 year old, showed us truly what the holiday season is all about.  It is about each other regardless of our circumstance.  This young man didn't even have the energy to lift his head, yet his worry was with the homeless and down trodden and whether they were going to have food.

We have people now running around wanting to make sure that everyone knows they are Athiest and the only thing that exists is here and now.  I don't agree with them, but am grateful we live in a country where we are not afraid to disagree with one another.  I am grateful for the belief that we have a kind and loving Heavenly Father.  I believe I will see my mom and dad again.  I believe that my husband and my children are not just for here and for now that I will have them through the eternity.  I believe that my Heavenly Father sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. I believe in good will towards men and doing whatever I can to make things better the other guy.  I believe in Christmas!!!  I believe in it all year around.

Brendon passed away November 21, 2008.  I believe that the same Heavenly Father I have faith in was there to greet this precious young man, and say "well done my true and faithful servant".   Brendon made a difference in his own little part of the world.

May this Christmas Season we all be mindful of what it is all about.  May we all be of service not just through this month, but all the months ahead.  May we always be mindful which paths people have chosen to walk and love and accept one another in spite of ourselves.

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you.  May all your yuletide dreams come true.

  • Symptoms of a Heart Attack

How many of you realize that the symptoms for men and women can vary drastically?  Men will have that "stab me in the heart" type of pain.  Women can have everything from mild indigestion to a backache.

If you find yourself in a position where it is you are someone else having a heart attack, call 911 immediately, but if at all possible in the meantime, take a tablespoon of Tabasco Sauce or Thai Chili Sauce.  It will force the blood to the heart immediately.  It may burn like a son of a gun going down, but it sure can help!

As far as preventative 4life has something called Transfer Factor Cardio.  It has everything from Red Rice to COQ10 in it.  It helps the body alleviate itself from plaque build up.  It makes a great preventative.  The other thing a person needs to do is learn to RELAX!!!!

We live in a very high stress world.  Jobs are ending, people loosing their homes, the stock market going haywire, our childen going down paths when they should look closer at the signs.  Life really can get you, if you let it.  Please take the time to enjoy things.  Find things to be thankful for.  Keep a journal of all the things that have happend good for the day, even if it is just the fact you woke up breathing.  Find the beauty in our wonderful fall colors on the trees.  God has given us so many gifts, especially to get us through our rough patches that can put such undo stress on our hearts.  Take care of yourself and know you are loved.

  • Recession and Depression

I was on an interesting conference call today with Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad Poor Dad fame.  Since this isn't the type of conference call that comes around everyday, I would like to share with you some of the things he said.

One of the first things Mr. Kiyosaki said was, "If you are broke, then you have been lied to".  The last Depression of 1930 to 1950, is still being paid for.  That has become a very expensive Depression.  Think about it, from this Depression came:  Social Security, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and the good old FDIC.  We now have the Baby Boomers, and our Social Security is down the toilet.  The real biggy is that the Federal Reserve can print money, regardless whether they have anything to back it up with.  WHICH THEY DON'T!!!!

We now have the opportunity to turn things around for ourselves.  However, we have got to get away from the Depression mentality.  If you think that Obama or McCain is going to save you, you are really not thinking straight.  The only person you can truly rely on is yourself.

Mr. Kiyosaki has always advocated for Multi Level Marketing as the only way to keep things going in an economy that has been trashed every which way but loose.

Please take a look at 4life Research and Development as a viable option of research, integrity, and a way out of financial distruction.

  • What do you do now?

I am wondering how many of you get frustrated with your business, or how many of you are frustrated with what is happening with your business.

Do you have an upline that is constantly wanting you to buy leads?  Is it really working for you?  If so, tell me how you are doing it.

My experience has told me that no amount of leads is going to get you the business that you want.  That is the equivelant to fixing a hole in the dike with a piece of bubble gum.

I think we have the inate ability in all of us to find truth.  My truth may be different that yours because what works for me, may not work for you.  Let me give you an example:

I love to sing, tap dance and play the piano.  In fact, I have a passion for these things.  But if I told you just to sit at the piano without some sort of direction I have set you up for failure.  That is how I feel about MLM leads.  There are some powerful people in the MLM industry.  There are those of us like myself that even though we are making a comfortable living are still on a learning curve.

I would love to hear from you and find out how you are doing, and how you are doing it.  If you are wondering about my reasoning, it is because I really want to know.
